does anyone else park their car in the office lot, climb out and get pounced upon by an excitable brown-eyed blonde? just checking.
first thing this morning i’m looking around thinking where in the hell did this dog come from? he was so beautiful and friendly he would have trotted right off with"john wayne gacey" but it was just scary little me. we rode up in the elevator, made a stop at the water cooler then settled at my desk to call his mom.
i left a message and before long a very grateful woman came to collect him…maverick...sniff. she said her daughter would have died from grief and i believe her. later she returned with a pound cake! not at all necessary but very, very sweet.
prevention is kinder than destruction. each year over six million healthy dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are killed as surplus. remember: neuter, spay and don't let them stray!
