I've often tried to keep my mind from tearing off in a thousand different directions at once but mostly it just doesn't fly. Like an idiot I've even repeated to myself, chant-like, live in the moment...live in the moment. This is a great way to get a crowd of people to part like the Red Sea upon your approach.
At times I am firm in my convictions and stay rooted to my decisions for a good thirty minutes...then my sister will repeat something back to me that I said days or even hours before. Convinced she's gas lighting me I'll vehemently deny ever having said something so preposterous, secretly knowing I've made the ridiculous statement and then some.
In my attempt to keep myself open to any possible experience I may very well have swung the pendulum back and forth so rapidly that I've settled into inertia...
prevention is kinder than destruction. each year over six million healthy dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are killed as surplus. remember: neuter, spay and don't let them stray!
